Twice today, the number came up with the name Janice. Upon answering, I was told to call back a different number due to criminal activity being associated with this number. Instead, I called back the number twice. Each time, The responder had an accent, sounding south/southwest Asian and the noise in the back ground was typical of telemarketing. I hung up the first time. However, "Alan Paris" badge # DEA 41 claims he's from the Social Security Administration, and got my name right without me telling him. He went on to say that a car at the Mexico border was found with papers identifying me, my SSN, etc. and 20 lbs of cocaine. Their investigations found that I own 20 properties, numerous vehicles and all my banking and other assets are about to be frozen unless I can tell them what assets I actually own. He did not waiver when I told him I was a police sergeant (no, I'm not). But, when I told them to freeze everything and he hung up.
