Same exact scenario he scammed me with Amazon too.

They almost had me today! I received an email, stating that a purchase for a 75-inch TV and a game console were purchased on my Amazon card. This slick guy, who appeared to be truly knowledgeable and have a lot of information about me and some of my account background. Using the name Steven Roderick, he told me I needed to go to a Safeway parking lot and get a "block card" and that he would stay on the line with me. I can't believe I actually did this as I look back on it, but I panicked. When I got to the parking lot he transferred me to a "Safeway Manager" and wanted the last 4 digits of the credit card I would be using to buy this "block card." He assured me Amazon would reimburse me for this purchase, but this is how they needed to catch the scammers!! When he asked me to authorize a $1,000 charge to my credit card I finally woke up! I told this guy there was no way I was going to do that and his reply was why not, we told you Amazon would reimburse it! I told him I was going to the police station right now and hung up on him. A few minutes later, the first guy called me back from a different number. I told him the same thing and he hung up. The phone numbers they used were 808-204-8088 and 833-392-0331.
