Received an email about an Amazon iPhone. Came here to confirm it’s a scam.

It’s a scam.

My husband, who does not have an amazon account, got an email about a phone order. The email contained a pdf with the order info and not an actual. The pdf had gobbly goop for a name. I called the number here and it took awhile for the answerer to say Amazon. I think since I was calling on my phone and not my husband’s they were confused. When he said amazon with such a thick accent I said thank you and hung up.

Received an email from [email protected] with Amazon logo stating that I had ordered an Apple iPhone to be delivered to another address. I was given a number to call if I didn't make the order. Upon looking up the number I was directed here. This is a scam.

They claim to be apart of Amazon Fraud Prevention Dept. They are not and they ask for your card information to review the order. The invoice looks good but it is a fake.

I received an email stating it was from Amazon and that my Amazon order was on its way and to report for fraud activity this 800 number was there and upon calling it a Persian guy answered and tried to get me to download an app that would send information from one device to another. The order receipt was sent as a jpk download and was not legit. Upon calling Amazon support they assured me that there was an account with my email address with my name but it has been locked and no one can gain access to it. I do have an Amazon account but not with the email address that received the email from this project 800 number this is a hacker scam spam caller do not call!
