I have about 10-12 calls (all representing themselves as BMO) I work with the newcomer community so I am a bit of an expert when it comes to accents. Caucasian and Indian all use phrase "tripple 8" while most give full number to call back. I have these on my phone and have recovered deleted calls. One call was incredibly nervous and anxious (about 3 days ago). ALSO received a call from my medical office (unknown number) rescheduling an appointmnent. Doctor not available on 29 May but is available on 21 May insted for this year. Have a friend who received a similar call from friend in trouble asking not to call the husband but needed my friend to transfer funds. She, of course, called husband. It was her friends voice that my friend heard. Brilliant technology!!! This all started for me when I launched a campaign againtst an Ontario Leader of Parliament regarding a political issue. Been interesting sinc e then to say the least. Example" Sent an email to two people while I'm in Texas....sent ok from my phone...they are in the same room as me,,,,,only got one word of my email while I had sent 12-13 lines. Cheers everybody.......We need to follow the example of Estonia and how they made their country bullet-proof after having been hacked by Russia. There is a way to fight back. Received a call from Scammer no 1 1-866-988-0085 per call log on 2019-06-20. Send back a "nice" message and blocked Scammer 1 after I determined it was a scam. Second call from Scammer 2 per call log on 2019-06-21 at 1-888-676-2269 . Confirmed scammer and sent back "nice" message and blocked. Got another call from Scammer 2 a ?day later after having been blocked. I ignored this call. Today I get a text from scammer as previously reported to you asking to look at my BMO acct no.

Have been receiving calls representing BMO Canada. Bypassing blocked numbers and now sending text from blocked no with message regarding BMO account no and giving the last digits of bank card. Been hacked since January 2019 - have "lost" $32,000 of payments on BMO accounts. Bank can't explain. Jus recently made a deposit using a BMO cheque to deposit to another account and it bounced 8-9 days later. Hope this helps. Namaste.
