Messaging to say HSE and you've been in contact with someone who has covid 19 and attached a link to follow.

Sending spam messages purporting to be from An Post and requesting to pay fees and warning that if fees are unpaid the item will be returned to the sender. The text is as follows:
"AN POST: Your package has a €1.70 pending fee. To pay this visit https://anpostpayfees-now.com. If this is not paid the package will be returned to sender"

BEWARE - THEY ARE NOW SENDING TEXTS SAYING THEY ARE FROM REVENUE ONLINE SERVICES - VERY SMART AS I RECENTLY COMPLETED A TAX RETURN USING ROS ...... SO THEY MUST BE ABLE TO KNOW THESE THINGS TO ALIGN THEIR SPAM TEXTS TO YOUR REAL WORLD ACTIVITIES.............BLOCK!!!!

Ordered from Amazon. Received email supposedly from An Post telling me I needed to pay 1.90 unpaid fee. "If this is not paid the package will be returned". I rarely order online but these scam artists were on the ball the day after I did. Be very wary. Close friend got caught out after assuming the text was legitimate.

Today i got a txt message from 0894071428 and messages pretending that they’re An Post and that you have customs charges of €1.90 and asks me to click on the link they sent it! Please Do not click it they are scam

Doesn’t call but instead sends messages pretending that they’re An Post and that you have customs charges. Asks you to click on a dodgy link to get your details. Don’t fall for it!
