A man called my recently bereaved sister several times offering better terms for her Lloyds ISAs. My sister didn't understand and gave him my number. I phoned him at this number and the person answering said it was the main switchboard at Canary Wharf and that he did not know who had called my sister from the number. A few days later he phoned me claiming to represent Lloyds Bank Shares and told me that my sister should change her low-yield investments. I became suspicious and disconnected. When I phone it back it was not answered and was then cut off.
