indeed a spam call that doesn't mention any names but yours or even a contact number to reschedule, the number it was sent from is always 'turned off' or unavailable this is word for word except for the areas enclosed by "< >", "Hi <your name here>, your appointment with the <Clinic Nurse 1> is on <random week day date> at <random time of day usually afternoon>. Please reply in CAPITAL LETTERS YES if you can attend and NO if you cannot attend. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO COVID PROTOCOLS WE ARE LIMITED WITH THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE ALLOWED IN THE BUILDING AT ANY TIME - PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THIS IF YOU HAVE ANOTHER PERSON ATTENDING THE PRACTICE WITH YOU - DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PATIENTS THEY MAY HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE. THANKYOU FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION." this is most likely a checking system where they try to see which numbers are active to plan scams later down the track.
