This is NOT PayPal. To begin with PAYPAL is ONE word not 2, as on this site. That's a very well used con used by scammers. Similar but not the same. Its a PRIVATE number not a company when checked. I received an SMS which said INSIDE the text it is PayPal, but came as an ordinary number. The TXT had details of a refund (done wrongly) by SOMEONE ON EBAY CHAT who had tried several tricks to get me to disclose my paypal details to him, in order to get my refund. I DO NOT have a linked Paypal account on ebay. I DO NOT have SMS notifications set up on PayPal. This is NOT from PayPal, and the only other place/person who had those refund details was the EBAY CHAT PERSON. Or someone else ON EBAY. I have reported to both PayPal and also ebay. At least I know PayPal will look into it. DO NOT TRUST THIS NUMER AND IT IS NOT PAYPAL. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT REPLY or you have just confirmed that this IS the mobile number attached to your PP. And your mobile number can be used as a LOGIN and a lot of people use the same password for both paypal and ebay.

Don't fall for it.
