Feigning as a UOB staff, he talked about a new UOB reimbursement policy that is only offered to UOB members and not known to the public. He already knew my full name prior to calling somehow. He asked for details such as my job and what transportation I usually take to work before I hung up. When I got suspicious, he kept reassuring me that cause I could see the number, I could just check it online.
For my call, he was feigning as a UOB staff inquiring about the hospital insurance for Covid19.
Fellow Singaporeans to beware. I restarted my phone in case he was putting anything suspicious inside of it through the voip, we need to track this one down and bust the business altogether.
