This was a text from Riot-Blockchain offering employment opportunities. I have no idea how they got my cell phone number. I did a Duck Duck search and found a warning on LinkedIn. LinkedIn has a post warning that this is actually malware, disguised as an employment opportunity, however, Per LinkedIn; once you accept and download their program, there is an undisclosed back door that infects your devices w/malware. They steal all your pertinent information, ie: keys, passwords, etc. They offer a very large amount of “earnings”. LinkedIn says that they do this in order to gain trust and once that happens you’re basically scr*#ed. They also have been investigated by the SEC. (Security exchange commission) in case you’re not reco the anacronym. From my search I read, the SEC charged three people, including the CEO but ended up dismissing the charges in 2020. That was enough for me, so I did not investigated further. But I will. If I find more information I’ll post it.
