I received an sms to say that my card had been charged $5275.11 for Lifespan Fitness Treadmill order Id KL160........at Amazon on 16-8-21. If you DO NOT ,call now 086245-2500. In a panic I called the number and when they answered , they wanted my email address.
When I asked them “Who am I speaking with? “ they hung up !

Definite scam. Number diverts to Indian call centre. I tried to take the piss and order food for lunch but they quoted last 4 digits of my credit card, expiry date and shipping address all from my caller ID. They then tried to put through a payment via PayPal as I got SMS from legit PayPal mobile number with PIN. The guy on phone wanted the PIN. If I gave them my PIN they would've been in the money. Details they quoted is from my Amazon account so I think that is their data source.
