Don't let this number trick you. 100% scam. As soon as I said I wouldn't pay they hung directly up. Amnesty International would never be so rude.

Unknown number keeps calling me

They phoned me. Wanted details. Was I working, was NZ sunny - I noticed it was a Auckland call, was a pom female persons voice - she stated she worked in Australia I knew that was a lie. Said wanted funds for 2 million children in Gaza strip. I had filled out a survey questionnaire. I ended this by hanging up.

Charity call

Signed a petition for Amnesty International and was called almost immediately after and asked for money for other unrelated issues in the Middle East. I mentioned that I was unable to help as my family are committed in terms of donations. They've continued to call my mobile number frequently. Very irritating. While I appreciate the work they do, they are spammers at this point.

They are a charity partnership group that assists with fundraising, based in Australia but they do work with a couple of NZ organisation's. Google Public Outreach if you want more info.

They say they got my details from a petition I signed earlier this year. I don't usually put my phone number down or tick the box that says it is ok to contact me. Caller seemed to be fishing for information so I ended the call. I don't know what they wanted.
